This year our sisters decided to do a fashion show for OU’s Vietnamese Student Association Annual Lunar Moon Festival to showcase the diverse styles of the áo dài! It was great working with the other volunteers to put on a great cultural show for the OU community. Most of the girls are wearing an áo dài which is a long silk tunic generally worn over pantaloons. Back in the day, it was worn casually..but in the United States the áo dài is worn more at formal events such as pageants, weddings, and even fashion shows!
Shout out to our sisters, Paula & Lira for planning and choreographing it in such a short amount of time, it looked awesome!
